Taking risks

When I think about my education life, I can't find any teacher that built on my strenghts and let me sail there. All of them were okay if most of the class understood the subject. They never cared about you individually if you were not VERY successful in that lesson.

In contrary to my old teachers, I would let my students take risks. Because playing safe won't give them any new inforation or experiences. They have to learn by doing, experiencing and taking risks.

SUPERTEACHER!!!

My super teacher is very intelligent in order to act properly in front of students in any kind of event. Thus, she thinks before she moves. She also has a very rich culture that she knows most of the things about the universe. She is not fast or strong but she is able to help people in need and this is how a teacher should be: smart and caring.
My hero can hear everything from afar and she's able to run very fast (in case of emergency ;) ). She has a horn that can call for help anytime because if anything happens to her students she probably will need this.

Personal Statement

Truth be told, I never wanted to be a teacher. I always thought I'd be an architect or engineer. But in the last year of high school I realised that I'm too lazy for those departments and decided to be an English teacher. I was already in a teachers' training high school and it was beneficial for me to become a teacher. I wanted to teach English because that's what I'm most good at. I already love to get to know different people and try to figure out what's in their mind (psychology) and their characteristics. Working with many different people always seemed very ideal for me.

So long I have only taught to my cousins and helped them with their homeworks but it was very fun all the while. It was obvious that all of us enjoyed the time we spent together studying.

This year one of my favorite classes is Oral Expression and Public Speaking. I have stage fright that's why I'm shy about giving presentations. But this class seems very fun and it looks like it is going to make me love giving presentations :) By the time I graduate I just want to become a confident teacher in front of the students. I think for everything confidence is the key.
