Personal Statement

Truth be told, I never wanted to be a teacher. I always thought I'd be an architect or engineer. But in the last year of high school I realised that I'm too lazy for those departments and decided to be an English teacher. I was already in a teachers' training high school and it was beneficial for me to become a teacher. I wanted to teach English because that's what I'm most good at. I already love to get to know different people and try to figure out what's in their mind (psychology) and their characteristics. Working with many different people always seemed very ideal for me.

So long I have only taught to my cousins and helped them with their homeworks but it was very fun all the while. It was obvious that all of us enjoyed the time we spent together studying.

This year one of my favorite classes is Oral Expression and Public Speaking. I have stage fright that's why I'm shy about giving presentations. But this class seems very fun and it looks like it is going to make me love giving presentations :) By the time I graduate I just want to become a confident teacher in front of the students. I think for everything confidence is the key.
